Role Overview

- We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with solid experience in Node.js backend development and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications and microservices.
- The candidate will work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
- Develop and manage applications on Azure App Service / Azure Web Apps.
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus.
- Work with Azure Storage including Blob, Queue, and Table Storage.
- Design database schemas and develop optimized SQL queries.
- Work with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL Database.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and solution development.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical resolutions.
- Follow SDLC, coding standards, Git-based source control, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- 6–9 years of software development experience.
- Strong Node.js experience – 7+ years preferred.
- Solid JavaScript / TypeScript expertise.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure:
- Azure App Service / Web Apps
- Azure Functions




- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Storage – Blob, Queue, Table
- Azure SQL / Azure Database services
- Strong MS SQL Server experience, including database design and query optimization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application development.

- Docker / Containerization.
- Application performance tuning and monitoring.

- Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-900 / AZ-204.

Domain & Business Exposure

- Exposure to manufacturing / industrial product companies is an advantage.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Experience with business requirements, technical specifications, development, testing, change management, implementation, and production support.
- Experience working in large international/global organizations is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile Node.js + Azure + MS SQL + Microservices + REST APIs should be the core combination, with strong hands-on exposure to Azure Functions, App Service, Service Bus, and Azure Storage. Manufacturing/industrial domain experience and SAP exposure would provide an additional advantage.
