Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Software QA Lead to drive our QA team in delivering world-class software quality. As a critical part of our engineering team, you will define and implement cutting-edge QA strategies, drive advanced automation initiatives, and maintain and evolve our next-generation testing infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical practitioner who can lead by example, oversee end-to-end testing across diverse platforms, and innovate using modern automation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement robust QA practices, frameworks, and tools to achieve exceptional software quality standards.
- Team Development & Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
- Agent-Based Automation Framework Management: Maintain, optimize, and scale our existing agent- based automation framework. Leverage AI agents to streamline automated test execution, self-healing tests, and intelligent defect identification, while actively upgrading the framework's capabilities.
- Automation Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, including functional, API, and performance testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development and Management teams to align testing strategies with business goals and development objectives.
- End-to-End Testing: Establish and execute comprehensive testing strategies covering functional, regression, UAT, scalability, and performance testing.
- Metrics-Driven Approach: Track, analyze, and report QA metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and enhance overall product quality.
- Innovation in Testing:



Stay abreast of emerging QA trends, agentic automation paradigms, and up-to-date testing tools to continuously refine processes.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee defect management using advanced tools and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions.
- Agent-Based Testing Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience working with agent-based automation frameworks. Deep understanding of how autonomous/semi-autonomous agents function in test automation, with demonstrated capability to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade agentic framework features.
- Agile Practices: 2+ years of experience in Agile methodology and related test automation techniques.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks. Programming Languages: Expertise in at least one core scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Shell scripting).

- Database & Querying: Strong command of SQL for writing complex queries.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and test integration.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Applied experience with diverse technologies, including web services (REST/SOAP APIs), batch processing, and modern web applications.
- Test Management: Hands-on experience with test lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Soft Skills & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Adept at collaborating across cross-functional teams, solving problems under pressure, and using testing metrics to drive continuous process improvements.
