Role Description:-

The Senior Lawyer will provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, contracts, and compliance for Jaywant Group’s industrial and commercial projects.

This full-time, on-site role based in Pune City involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to land acquisition, development, leasing, construction, and property management.

The Senior Lawyer will work closely with leadership, project, and sales teams to assess legal risks, structure deals, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities include managing due diligence, overseeing title verification and documentation, coordinating with external legal counsel and government authorities, and supporting dispute resolution or litigation when needed.





The role also requires staying current with relevant real estate, corporate, and regulatory laws, and contributing to internal legal processes and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in real estate law, property transactions, and land acquisition, including drafting and vetting sale deeds, lease agreements, development agreements, and related documents.
- Solid experience in corporate and commercial law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance relevant to construction, leasing, and property management.
- 15 years of Experience into real estate and relevant field into Maharashtra.
- Proficiency in legal research, Due deligence and registration risk assessment, and documentation, with the ability to interpret complex statutes, regulations, and policies in the real estate sector.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder communication, negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams, clients, government authorities, and external legal advisors.
- Ability to handle disputes, support litigation strategy, and oversee resolution processes related to property, contracts, or regulatory matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; an advanced law degree or specialization in real estate or corporate law is an advantage.
- Several years of post-qualification experience in real estate, infrastructure, or commercial property law, preferably with exposure to industrial projects.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and capability to work independently in an on-site, quick-paced environment in Pune City.
