Position : Senior IT Project Manager (Insurance industry)

Overall/Total Experience : 6 - 9 years only

Location : Bengaluru

Working Days : 5 Days Working from Office (US Hours: 9.30 PM - 6.30 AM IST)

Notice Period Requirement : 30 Days (Maximum)

Client's Company Size : Startup/Small Enterprise

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders - business, development, QA, and architecture teams - to define project goals and success criteria.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure efficient Agile/Scrum execution.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identifying and resolving risks and issues.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including charters, plans, and status reports.
- Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and cutting-edge environment.

Candidate Requirements :

- Strong IT Project Manager Profile with cross-functional delivery and Agile/Scrum ownership and Insurance domain exposure.
- Must have 6+ years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with at least the recent 3+ years in insurance industry leading cross-functional teams and delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.




- Must have experience collaborating with business, development, QA, and architecture teams to define project goals and success criteria.
- Must have hands-on experience facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups for efficient Agile/Scrum execution.
- Must have experience monitoring project performance, identifying and resolving risks and issues, and maintaining detailed project documentation (charters, plans, status reports).
- Must have experience mentoring and leading a team of developers.
- Must have strong command of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies (Fixed Bid project experience a plus).
- Must have excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal/communication skills to engage senior management and clients.
- Must have strong analytical thinking - able to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
- Must be hands-on with JIRA, MS Project, and similar tools.
- Must have Insurance domain expertise - IT projects within insurance, with an understanding of processes, regulations, and customer needs.
- Should be willing to work during EST shift (9.30 PM - 6.30 AM IST) as the client is based in US and they have US clients.
