Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Finance who can seamlessly manage multiple responsibilities, coordinate across stakeholders, and ensure solid financial governance. The ideal candidate should be a proactive multitasker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage end-to-end finance operations independently.

Location: Colaba, Mumbai.

Key responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Management o Act as the primary finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (KAM/BD, Operations, HR, Tech, Legal) to ensure alignment on financial processes and requirements.

o Manage vendor, auditor, and consultant interactions with professionalism and timely responses.

- Revenue Coordination o Oversee revenue recognition, billing processes, and reconciliation.

o Ensure timely invoicing, follow-up on collections, and address revenue leakages.

o Coordinate with KAM and Ops team to validate revenue inputs and ensure accuracy in reporting.

- Review of Books & Financial Reporting o Review monthly books of accounts and ensure timely month-end close.

o Analyse financial statements and highlight variances, risks, and business insights.

o Ensure accuracy in accounting entries in line with applicable standards.

- Policy Development & Process Improvement o Draft, review, and implement finance-related policies, SOPs, and internal controls.





o Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Audit (Internal & Statutory)

o Lead internal, statutory, and compliance audits end to end.

o Provide necessary documentation, resolve queries, and ensure timely closure of audit issues.

o Ensure audit-readiness throughout the year.

- Compliance & Governance o Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other regulatory mandates.

o Timely filing of returns, payments, and coordination with consultants.

o Maintain strong governance and adherence to corporate policies.

- Additional Responsibilities o Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

o Assist management in decision-making through data-driven insights.

o Handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines.

Skills/Qualifications o Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with 3-6+ years of relevant experience.

o Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements.

o Excellent multitasking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

o Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and automation tools.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high ownership.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines o Experience in legal / financial services / insurance industry is preferred.
