Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the overall maintenance and reliable operation of plant machinery, electrical systems, utilities, and infrastructure.

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

- Minimize machine downtime and improve equipment availability.

- Manage electrical, mechanical, automation, and utility equipment.

- Manage spare parts, maintenance costs, and service vendors.

- Support machine installation, commissioning, and CAPEX projects.

- Ensure safety, statutory compliance, and proper maintenance records.

- Lead maintenance technicians and coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments.

- Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and reduction of repeat breakdowns..

- Facility Maintenance

- Oversee maintenance of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, fire safety systems, etc).

- Ensure proper functioning of seed storage facilities (ventilation, temperature monitoring, fumigation schedules).





- Continuous Improvement

- Contribute to process optimization and equipment modification initiatives.

- Recommend upgrades to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and performance.

- Participate in training of plant staff on protected and proper equipment use.

Education, Skills, and Work Experience Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical in Engineering / Any Graduation

- Relevant Work Experience: 3- 7 years in any process industry such as seed, food product, chemical or heavy engineering.

- Skills:

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to read technical diagrams, wiring layouts, and equipment manuals.

- Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment (preferred).

Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS).
