About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Process Engineering professional who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining manufacturing tooling while driving process improvements and low-cost automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, tooling design, process validation, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and process layouts using AutoCAD.
- Develop, maintain, and improve jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling to support effective manufacturing operations.
- Modify and align all jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling in accordance with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
- Conduct initial trials, validation, and qualification of new and modified fixtures for both new product development and existing production lines.
- Drive Low-Cost Automation (LCA) projects to improve productivity, reduce manual operations, and enhance process efficiency.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, safety, and cost.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design,



Maintenance, and Tool Room teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, drawings, work instructions, and engineering records.
- Provide technical support during new product development, pilot runs, and production ramp-up.
- Ensure tooling availability and readiness to meet production schedules.
- Analyze manufacturing problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety guidelines, and engineering best practices.

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of jig, fixture, gauge, and tooling design.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling development, and process validation.
- Experience in Engineering Change Management (ECN).
- Knowledge of Low-Cost Automation (LCA) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
