The Role

Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering designs while working closely with both local and global project teams.





You'll be responsible for managing electrical design activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the electrical design of building services projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare and review electrical calculations, reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with mechanical, public health, structural, architectural, and external stakeholders.
- Perform power system studies, load calculations, short circuit analysis, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
- Manage project deliverables, program milestones, and resource planning.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Carry out quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Identify technical risks and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Mentor graduate and junior engineers, supporting their technical development.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical presentations where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across engineering teams.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in engineers who combine strong technical expertise with excellent collaboration and leadership skills.





You'll ideally have

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical building services design within an engineering consultancy.
- Experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and life safety systems.
- Experience using ETAP, Amtech, Microsoft Excel, and other electrical design software.
- Solid understanding of international design standards and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards.
- A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
