This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Data Insights Specialist based in India.

This is a remote opportunity for an experienced business and data insights professional who can bridge complex business needs and technology-driven solutions. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to uncover requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and guide strategic decision-making. The role combines business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, visualization, and client advisory responsibilities.

You will contribute to large-scale projects while helping teams define clear priorities, manage change, and deliver measurable business value. The position also provides opportunities to lead analysis teams, influence client strategy, and support proposals and new business initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to turn complex information into practical outcomes.

Accountabilities:

- Act as a strategic liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams, using structured approaches to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
- Lead requirements management and change management activities for complex projects, ensuring scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations remain well managed.
- Translate business needs into clear system, application, process, and project requirements that support effective technology solutions.
- Lead analysis teams on large projects and provide guidance on requirements gathering, documentation, validation, prioritization, and traceability.

- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and business studies to uncover underlying business needs and distinguish requirements from proposed solutions.
- Apply industry and technology expertise to recommend improvements to business systems, processes, products, and operating models.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, managing expectations around scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

- Lead the development of visualization and user-experience elements within solution designs, helping stakeholders understand complex information and proposed outcomes.
- Model current-state and future-state business processes, business rules, requirements, and system interactions using appropriate analytical and visualization techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, automation, and enhanced business performance.





- Prepare and present business study findings, recommendations, and solution proposals to senior management and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposals, feasibility studies, business development activities, and the identification of new opportunities.
- Assess the business implications of technology adoption and provide insights that can influence strategic direction.

- Develop structured documentation, user materials, training resources, acceptance test plans, and other deliverables required to support successful implementations.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute thought leadership, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across business analysis and technology teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related discipline, with typically 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with typically 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience in business analysis, data insights, requirements management, consulting, technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, structured analysis, and collaborative discovery techniques.
- Proven ability to decompose high-level information into detailed requirements while distinguishing business needs, requests, requirements, and potential solutions.

- Strong experience with requirements classification, prioritization, validation, ambiguity analysis, change management, traceability, scope management, and risk identification.
- Experience with business process modeling, including documenting current-state and future-state processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of object-oriented analysis techniques and UML modeling.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the creativity to develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology challenges.
- Experience developing and communicating project or system visions and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, written communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

- Experience building collaborative relationships across technical, business, and client-facing teams.




- Knowledge of visualization modeling, business rules modeling, statistical analysis, survey design, and/or Function Point Analysis is an advantage.
- Experience developing structured user manuals, training materials, and user acceptance test plans is desirable.

- Experience in one or more specific industry domains and the ability to apply relevant industry knowledge to technology and business challenges.
- IIBA CBAP or equivalent business analysis certification is desirable, as is relevant recognized industry certification.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues, provide thought leadership, and work independently in complex client environments.
