About ConvertPoloAt ConvertPolo, we turn digital journeys into measurable success through data-backed experimentation, human-centered insights, and continuous learning. We work with e-commerce and D2C brands across geographies, running CRO experimentation programmes, building brands from the ground up, and shipping web experiences that convert.
About the roleThis is not a pure analyst seat. We are looking for someone who can own a client from the first kickoff call to the renewal conversation, and everything in between.
You will be the single point of accountability for a set of accounts. That means you set the optimization direction, you run the experimentation roadmap, you keep delivery on time and on quality, and you carry a good relationship through renewal. When a client asks "where are we and what is next," you are the person who answers.
We are looking for someone who has already done CRO hands-on and is ready to take the wheel on the whole engagement. If you enjoy being close to the client, are comfortable with numbers, and take it personally when a delivery slips, this role will fit you well.
What you will own1. End-to-end client ownership
- Act as the primary point of contact for your accounts from onboarding through renewal, including kickoff, weekly calls, escalations and reviews.
- Understand each client's business model, margins, seasonality and internal priorities well enough to make recommendations they can act on.
- Set expectations clearly and early on scope, timelines and what is realistically achievable, and hold the line when scope drifts.
- Run monthly and quarterly business reviews that connect our work to the client's commercial outcomes, not just test results.
- Manage difficult conversations directly: missed timelines, flat test results, scope disputes and pricing questions.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, upsell, cross-sell and renewal of accounts
2. Project and delivery ownership
- Own the delivery plan for every engagement on your accounts: scope, milestones, dependencies, owners and dates.
- Coordinate design, development and QA to move work from hypothesis to live experiment without quality gaps.
- Keep the project management system (ClickUp or equivalent) accurate and current: estimates, statuses, assignees, time logs and blockers.
- Run QA sign-off discipline before anything goes live on a client property,
and own the outcome if something ships broken.
- Track effort against estimate and flag over-consumption or capacity risk before it becomes a client problem.
- Publish delivery status internally and externally on a predictable cadence, with no surprises at month-end.
3. Renewals, retention and account health
- Own the renewal outcome for your accounts, including the health assessment, the renewal case, the commercial conversation
- Maintain a live view of account health: results delivered, engagement quality, responsiveness, sentiment and consumption against contract.
- Spot churn risk early through leading signals and run the intervention before the client raises it.
- Build the renewal narrative through the engagement, not in the last two weeks: document wins, learnings and the roadmap that justifies the next term.
- Identify expansion opportunities where they genuinely serve the client, such as additional geos, additional service lines or a wider testing programme.
- Run structured offboarding and win-back where a client does choose to pause or leave.
4. CRO strategy and experimentation
- Analyze behavioural and web data to identify friction, drop-off and conversion opportunity across the funnel.
- Build a prioritised experimentation roadmap grounded in user behaviour, business goals and established CRO frameworks.
- Write sharp, testable hypotheses and design experiments with the right success metrics, guardrails and sample considerations.
- Run A/B, multivariate and personalisation tests with statistical rigour and honest reading of results, including the ones that lose.
- Translate findings into explicit, professional deliverables: audits, hypothesis documents, experiment reports and roadmaps.
- Stay current on CRO, analytics, UX and platform changes that affect how we test.
5. Team and process contribution
- Contribute to the internal CRO playbook and improve how we scope, estimate and deliver.
- Mentor junior analysts on analysis quality,
hypothesis writing and client communication.
- Feed learnings from your accounts back into the wider team so the same lesson is not paid for twice.
- QualificationsMust have
- 2+ years in CRO, growth or digital analytics, with at least 1 year owning client relationships directly.
- Proven track record of running an experimentation programme end to end, from data analysis to hypothesis to live test to reported outcome.
- Strong command of GA4 and behavioural analytics, with the ability to interrogate data rather than just report it.
- Hands-on experience with at least one experimentation platform (VWO, Convert, Optimizely or similar).
- Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and how they constrain what can be tested.
- Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to present to founders and marketing leads with confidence.
- Demonstrated project management ability: you can hold a plan, chase dependencies and deliver on a date.
Good to have
- Experience owning renewals, upsells or account P&L; in an agency setup.
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Jira or a similar project management tool.
- Front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) sufficient to scope experiment feasibility with developers - not mandatory.
- Experience with UX research methods, session replay analysis and survey design.
- Exposure to international clients across multiple markets and time zones.
- Data visualisation and reporting experience.
- Tools you will work with
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio
- Behaviour: Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity
- Experimentation: VWO, Convert, Optimizely, CrowAI, etc.
- Platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento
- Delivery: ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace
What we offer
- Compensation tailored to your experience, with a performance-linked component.
- Exposure to a range of industries, markets and business models.
- A learning-rich environment with mentorship and structured knowledge sharing.
- Remote-first setup with a five day work week.
- A clear growth path into account leadership and strategy.
