- Job Requirements Role Summary Own the end-to-end delivery of Kofax Capture as a Citrix-hosted thick client: Windows Server 2019 VDA build, Kofaxclient installation via an approved shared path, validated connectivity to the Kofax Application Server, SQL, and NASbackends, scanner/TWAIN redirection for capture operators, seamless-app publication behind MFA, operatormigration, and decommission of local installs — all without touching the Kofax server side and without interruptingdaily document-intake operations.Key Responsibilities• Validate Kofax Capture version and licensing for Citrix-hosted concurrent use; inventory operators and scannermodels• Author the design: VDA build specification, shared installation path approach, network flows (App Server TCP2424, SQL UDP 1434, NAS SMB), TLS 1.2 posture, and centralized logging• Configure client-provisioned Server 2019 VDA servers; install the Kofax Capture client and validate registrationwith the Citrix Delivery Controller• Validate backend connectivity end-to-end from the VDA estate (working with the Infrastructure SME on firewall,SQL,



and NAS access)• Configure and test scanner/TWAIN redirection through Citrix sessions for in-scope scanner models — includinghands-on troubleshooting with capture operators• Publish Kofax as a Citrix seamless application behind Gateway MFA; execute end-to-end capture workflowvalidation and support operator UAT to signoff• Execute operator migration and local-install decommission; deliver the support runbook and one week ofhypercareRequired Skills & Experience• 8+ years Citrix engineering: VDA build/configuration on Windows Server, Delivery Controllerregistration,seamlessapplication publishing, Gateway/MFA-fronted access• Hands-on Kofax Capture client experience: installation (shared/network install paths), Application Serverconnectivity, batch class workflow execution•ProvenTWAIN/scanner redirection through Citrix sessions — this is the role's differentiating skill and theworkstream's primary technical risk• Windows Server 2019 administration; comfort validating multi-protocol connectivity (TCP/UDP/SMB) and readingfirewall behavior• Operational sensitivity: migrations executed around live daily production volumesNice to Have• Kofax Capture administration or Tungsten Automation ecosystem certification• Alternative capture/imaging platforms (OpenText Captiva, ABBYY) as transferable backgroundPrint/peripheral virtualization troubleshooting depth in Citrix environmentsWork Experience 10-15Years
