Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Consumer Lending Products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving requirements from conception to implementation, translating business needs into detailed functional requirements, conducting impact analysis, coordinating with technology and testing teams, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of business initiatives.

Candidates with experience in Mortgage/LAP/Home Loan products will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand the current as-is lending process and suggest optimizations/changes to be done
2. Analyze the customer/business needs, document requirements and derive test cases
3. Define and Analyze enhancements and assist in redesigning the business process and workflow automation
4. Work closely with quality assurance to ensure thorough testing before every release.
5. Prepare suitable user-guides & collaterals for current developments. Ensure metrics, deadlines and record keeping obligations are met.
6. Coordination with product team for issue resolution around the agreed solution to ensure the release schedule remains on track and the functional issues are resolved through appropriate, agreed solutions.
7. To develop / co-create solution proposals, requirement documents, high level solution design, writing process flows. 8. Candidate will be exposed to user support, research & multiple other teams / activities to ensure robust understanding of business baseline.
8. Translate business requirements into detailed and structured Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
9. Impact Analysis & Solution Design





- Perform end-to-end impact analysis across applications, interfaces, and business processes.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, and integration teams to define optimal solutions.
- Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical deliverables.

1. API & Integration Management

- Participate in API requirement discussions and integration design reviews.
- Work with technology teams to analyze API request/response structures, validations, and data mapping.
- Support system integration initiatives involving lending platforms, core banking systems, LOS, LMS, third-party vendors, and internal applications.
- Experience in API implementation and project delivery will be an added advantage.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Relevant experience of 4+ years in digital loan origination system in BFSI segment. Strong academic background
2. Mandatory working experience in Consumer Lending with loan origination system implementation experience is must.

3. LMS implementation, affordable / home loan work experience is added advantage
4. Strong experience in negotiating scope and priorities and balancing for desired outcomes
5. Working knowledge of JIRA/equivalent project management tools, No/Low code platforms

Technical Skills

- Understanding of APIs, Web Services, and System Integrations.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and data flows.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries for data validation and analysis will be an added advantage.

- Familiarity with database concepts and troubleshooting.

Understanding of lending ecosystems including LOS, LMS, DMS, Bureau Integrations, and Core Banking Systems.
