About the role

Technical professional with perimeter level security experience of minimum 3-8 years, the candidate must possess understanding and knowledge of latest security landscape and must be able to work independently with minimum guidance. Must be thorough with ITIL and other ITSM processes.

We are hiring for Skilled level within our Security Architecture, Design & Implementation team. These role focus on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions across firewalls, cloud security, SD‑WAN, segmentation, and application security technologies.

Security Architecture & Design

- Contribute to or lead development of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for network and security solutions.
- Assist in defining end‑to‑end architectures for perimeter, cloud, and zero-trust controls.
- Participate in customer design workshops and technical discovery sessions.

Implementation & Deployment

- Build, configure, and deploy security platforms aligned to approved designs and standards.
- Perform migration, cutover, and validation activities for security technology deployments.
- Support integration with SIEM/SOAR, identity systems, and policy engines.

Documentation & Governance

- Create implementation guides, test cases, rollback plans, and operational handover documentation.
- Maintain compliance with internal security standards and industry frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO, etc.).

Troubleshooting & Optimization





- Perform root‑cause analysis for design or implementation issues.
- Tune policies, configurations, and performance parameters as per best practices.

Experience: 3–8 years

Focus: Own solution components; contribute to design decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Create LLDs and contribute to HLDs for multi‑vendor security platforms.
- Lead implementation of firewalls, SASE/SSE, microsegmentation, and ADC solutions.
- Conduct customer workshops and technical reviews.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and migrations.
- Mentor junior team members.

Skills:

- Strong expertise in NGFW (FortiGate or Palo Alto preferred).
- Good knowledge of ZIA/ZPA/Prisma/Netskope.
- Working experience with F5/Citrix ADC and WAF solutions.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical controls.
- Strong understanding and appreciation of the relationship between BT and our customers
- Behave as the conscious of the customer whilst protecting the BT brand and driving profitable growth
- Extensive experience of working in complex Network security design & Implementation tasks
- Experience driving efficiencies in change and incident management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and experience managing by influence
