Job Purpose/ Summary

The Stores Incharge – Trims & General Stores will be responsible for efficient management of trims, consumables, spare parts, and general store materials required for flooring manufacturing operations. The role involves inventory control, material receipt and issue, stock accuracy, record maintenance, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Responsibility

Manage daytoday operations of trims and general stores in the flooring manufacturing plant ensuring efficiency and effectivenessbrEnsure timely receipt inspection storage and issue of materials as per approved procedures maintaining high standards of qualitybrMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure system and physical stock reconciliation through ERPSAP systemsbrMonitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely replenishment to avoid shortagesbrEnsure proper storage identification and preservation of trims consumables spare parts and general materialsbrConduct periodic stock verification and cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy and integritybrExecute and monitor material transactions in SAP including GRN material issue stock transfer and inventory adjustmentsbrPrepare and maintain MIS reports related to stock movement consumption shortages and aging inventory for informed decisionmakingbrMinimize material loss wastage and obsolete inventory through effective inventory control practicesbrEnsure compliance with FIFOFEFO practices wherever applicable to maintain inventory freshnessbrCoordinate with internal departments for material planning and smooth plant operations fostering collaboration and efficiencybrEnsure adherence to safety housekeeping and statutory requirements within the store area to maintain a secure working environmentbrLead and supervise store personnel ensuring disciplined and efficient store operations while promoting a culture of excellence
