Role Description The SDE III (Frontend) – Angular JS role at Skeps is a full-time, in office position based in Gurgaon. In this role, the team member designs, develops, and maintains high-quality, scalable front-end applications using Angular and related web technologies for POS financing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers; implementing responsive user interfaces; optimizing performance; and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.

The role also involves reviewing code, mentoring other engineers, contributing to architectural decisions, and maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.



The team member will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver secure, reliable, and intuitive user experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong foundations in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles applied to modern JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular-based applications.
- Experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development concepts to effectively integrate frontend with APIs and services.
- Advanced skills in Angular (preferably Angular 8+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend build tools and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices integration, and secure, scalable web application architectures.
- Practical knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration, e2e), and debugging tools.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in fintech or payment/credit products is a plus, along with familiarity with performance optimization and high-availability systems.
