Role Description The School Counselor at HubbleHut will provide day-to-day counseling support to students, focusing on academic, personal, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, assessing student needs, and creating individualized support plans. The role involves offering career guidance, coordinating with teachers and families to address student challenges, and facilitating workshops or awareness programs on mental health and well-being.

The School

Counselor will also maintain accurate records, follow ethical and confidentiality standards,



and collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement student support policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in Student Counseling and general Counseling to support learners with academic, social, and emotional concerns.
- Experience or training in Career Counseling to guide students in educational choices, skill development, and career pathways.
- Solid foundation in Psychology and Mental Health to identify concerns, provide early intervention, and refer to external specialists when necessary.
- Relevant academic background such as a master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust with students, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, school counseling best practices, and ethical standards in counseling.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary school team.
- Prior experience as a school or educational counselor is preferred; familiarity with using digital tools for documentation and reporting is beneficial.
