Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Core ABAP, OOABAP, Web Dynpro ABAP, OData, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, Print Programs and Output Management. The candidate should be capable of independently handling development, enhancements, debugging, performance tuning and production support across SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments.

Mandatory Skills

- 5–10 years of SAP ABAP experience, with minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Web Dynpro ABAP.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in OData services/development.
- Strong experience in Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script and Print Programs.
- Strong experience in Output Management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Enhancement Framework, including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs and Enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Dictionary (DDIC) – Tables, Domains, Data Elements, Search Helps and Lock Objects.
- Experience with RFC, ALE, IDoc, BAPI, BDC, LSMW and ALV.
- Experience in SAP Workflow and data/interface development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Tables, Data Models and Integration Concepts.
- Hands-on experience with debugging, SQL Trace/ST05, Runtime Analysis/SAT and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of SOAP,



REST and HTTP APIs.
- Experience in custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, modifications and support of SAP standard/custom applications.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA development, including CDS Views, AMDP and Code Pushdown.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori integration and S/4HANA Output Management is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design, develop and enhance custom SAP applications, reports, interfaces, workflows and forms.
- Develop and maintain Web Dynpro ABAP applications and OData services.
- Develop and support Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Print Programs and Output Management solutions.
- Work on enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs and Enhancement Framework.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.
- Provide production support and resolve critical technical issues.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business users and technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, coding guidelines and quality processes.
- Support SAP ECC/S/4HANA development and integration requirements.

Candidate Must Have Core ABAP + OOABAP + Web Dynpro ABAP + OData + Adobe Forms/Smart Forms + Print Programs + Output Management are mandatory.

Candidates who do not have hands-on experience in Web Dynpro ABAP and OData should not be considered for this requirement.
