Role Description The SAP RAR Revenue Accounting and Reporting Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP RAR solutions to support compliant and accurate revenue recognition processes. This full-time, on-site role based in India involves collaborating with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, map business processes, and translate them into effective system configurations. The consultant will handle day-to-day activities such as setting up revenue contracts, performance obligations, and recognition profiles, performing system testing, and resolving functional issues.

The role includes analyzing revenue data, preparing documentation,



supporting audits, and ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS and US GAAP, depending on client needs). The consultant will also provide user training, post-go-live support, and continuous process improvements in SAP RAR and related SAP modules.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting), including configuration of revenue contracts, performance obligations, and revenue recognition rules.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP RAR with core SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, SD, and preferably SAP S/4HANA.
- Sound understanding of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15, ASC 606) and their application within SAP.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process mapping, solution design, and functional documentation for finance and revenue processes.
- Experience with system testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing in SAP environments.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and transactional data, perform reconciliations, and generate meaningful reports and insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work closely with finance teams, technical teams, and business leaders.
- Capability to conduct end-user training, develop training materials, and provide structured post-implementation support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; qualified
