SAP FICO Funds & Budgeting Functional Expert

Job Location: Remote (Offshore- Must be open to travel to client location in KSA for 1-2 week trips- Expenses paid)

Job type: Full time The three capability areas that define this role are: Funds Management with the Budget Control System (FM-BCS) as the enterprise enforcement layer; G/L line-item level budgeting through commitment-item structures derived from the operative chart of accounts; and Project System WBS budgeting, consolidation and accrual, including the coexistence of project budget envelopes with a single enterprise control ledger.

Total SAP experience

Minimum 10 years in SAP FI/CO functional architecture & delivery

Budgeting specialisation

Minimum 5 years focused on budgeting, funds management and preventive spend control.

FM-BCS implementations

Minimum 3 full-cycle FM-BCS implementations, of which at least one activated availability control in production in hard-blocking mode. Reporting-only implementations do not meet this requirement.

S/4HANA

At least one budgeting implementation on S/4HANA (1909 or later); direct experience on S/4HANA 2023 strongly preferred. ECC-only experience is not sufficient.

PS budgeting

At least two engagements delivering WBS budgeting with availability control,



including hierarchy consolidation and multi-year budget handling.

Scale

Experience of a multi-entity global template — 15 or more company codes, multiple currencies and fiscal calendars — with template governance designed rather than retrofitted.

Lifecycle

Full lifecycle exposure: assessment, blueprint or explore, realise, test, cutover, hypercare and handover. Experience of fiscal-year-change go-lives is a strong advantage.
