Sr. SAP FICA (Contract Accounting) Consultant – S/4HANA Migration

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICA (Financial Contract Accounting) Consultant with approximately 10+ years of overall SAP experience, including 5-7 years of hands-on SAP FICA experience.

The candidate should have strong expertise in SAP FICA Contract Accounting and proven experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion projects. The consultant will be responsible for solution design, configuration, migration, testing, integration, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

1. S/4HANA Migration & Conversion

- Participate in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects (Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition).
- Handle Business Partner (BP) conversion and Contract Account migration activities.
- Perform impact analysis on existing FICA custom developments and standard processes.
- Support data cleansing, migration, validation, cutover, and hypercare activities.

2. SAP FICA Configuration & Implementation Hands-on configuration experience in:





- Contract Partner & Contract Account
- Posting & Documents
- Payments & Payment Lot
- Direct Debit Processing
- Dunning
- Interest Calculation
- Security Deposits
- Returns Processing
- Write-Offs
- Account Balance Display

3. Integration

- Integrate SAP FICA with SAP SD, FI/CO, and BRIM solutions.
- Work closely with ABAP teams to prepare Functional Specifications (WRICEF objects).
- Support interfaces, enhancements, reports, and workflows.

4. Testing & Project Delivery

- Conduct requirement gathering and fit-gap workshops.
- Prepare solution design documents.
- Perform Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Cutover activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and mentor junior consultants.

Required Experience

- 10+ years overall SAP experience
- 5-7 years dedicated SAP FICA experience
- At least 1 end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion project
- Solid experience in:
- Business Partner (BP) Management
- Contract Accounts
- Invoicing & Posting
- Payment Processing
- Electronic Bank Statements (EBS)
- Dunning & Interest Calculation
- GL Reconciliation

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA Certification (Finance/FICA)
- Experience with SAP BRIM / Convergent Invoicing
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to FICA
- Experience in Utilities, Telecom, Insurance, Public Sector, or Subscription-based business models
