We are looking for a SAP ECP / EC Payroll QA Test Analyst with strong hands-on experience in US Payroll testing and SAP Employee Central Payroll. The candidate will be responsible for executing SIT, UAT, regression, parallel payroll and integration testing, with a strong focus on payroll calculations, tax processing, EC-to-ECP integrations and payroll interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute test cases and scripts across SIT, UAT, regression and parallel testing cycles.
- Test US payroll scenarios including gross-to-net, federal/state/local taxes, garnishments, retro and off-cycle payroll.
- Perform EC-to-ECP integration testing for employee master data, compensation, organization and position data.
- Test payroll interfaces including ACH/NACHA bank files, GL postings, time & attendance feeds and third-party payroll integrations.
- Execute payroll parallel runs and compare legacy payroll vs. ECP results.
- Validate US tax calculations and BSI TaxFactory results.
- Execute year-end testing covering W-2 and W-2c scenarios.
- Analyze payroll logs, wage types, pay periods and employee populations to identify discrepancies.
- Log and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center,



Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Review test scripts and identify test coverage gaps.
- Document test results, defects, payroll variances and root-cause findings.
- Provide execution status and escalate testing blockers to the Test Lead.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of Payroll domain experience
- Strong hands-on US Payroll experience
- SAP HCM Payroll / ECP / EC Payroll
- BSI TaxFactory
- US Federal, State and Local taxation
- Wage types, payroll schema/PCR and payroll logs
- Garnishments, retro payroll and off-cycle processing
- W-2 / W-2c
- EC-to-ECP replication/integration
- 2+ years of SIT / Integration Testing
- Payroll interfaces – ACH/NACHA, GL, Time-to-Payroll and third-party feeds
- Payroll parallel testing and variance analysis
- Defect management using JIRA / ALM / Quality Center / Azure DevOps
