Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) Consultant with 6–10 years of experience in SAP application development, BTP services, and CAP-based application development. The candidate should have strong experience in designing, developing, integrating, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications on SAP BTP.

SAP CAP supports development using Node.js/Java with CDS, and can integrate with services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Destination, Connectivity, and Authorization & Trust Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise applications using SAP BTP and SAP CAPM.
- Develop CAP applications using Node.js/TypeScript or Java.
- Design and maintain CDS data models, entities, associations, services, and annotations.
- Develop and expose OData V2/V4 and REST APIs.
- Integrate CAP applications with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud for database design, persistence, and data management.
- Configure and use SAP BTP services including:
- SAP Destination Service
- SAP Connectivity Service
- SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service (XSUAA)
- SAP HANA Cloud
- SAP Event Mesh
- SAP Build Work Zone
- Implement authentication, authorization, roles, scopes, and security concepts.
- Develop custom business logic and service handlers using Node.js/Java.
- Deploy and operate CAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma Runtime.
- Work with SAP Business Application Studio, VS Code, Git,



npm/Maven, and related development tools.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, deployment, and performance issues.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps practices.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, code reviews, testing, and production support.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.

Required Technical Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in SAP development/application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP CAPM.
- Strong knowledge of CAP CDS and domain modeling.
- Solid programming experience in Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
- Experience with OData and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA/HANA Cloud.
- Good understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
- Experience with BTP services such as Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, and Event Mesh.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and APIs.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
- Good understanding of cloud application architecture, security, and microservices.

Good to Have
- Experience with SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements / SAPUI5.
- Experience with SAP Cloud SDK.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP Build Work Zone.
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh.
- Knowledge of BTP Kyma Runtime / Kubernetes.
- Experience developing multitenant SaaS applications using CAP.
- SAP BTP or CAP certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
