Job Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce platform testing and hands-on experience supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Salesforce solutions, ensuring quality across releases, and supporting end-to-end testing activities within an Agile environment. The role requires deep understanding of Salesforce applications, testing methodologies, defect management, and ITSM frameworks to ensure reliable and high-quality business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, User Acceptance Support, and End-to-End testing.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, flows, Apex components, Lightning components, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and ITSM teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.




- Ensure quality assurance standards are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Support release validation and deployment activities across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Conduct API and integration testing between Salesforce and external systems.
- Validate ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Request Management workflows.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts wherever applicable.
- Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Salesforce Testing

- Strong experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Experience validating Salesforce Flows, Approval Processes, Workflows, Profiles, Permission Sets, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

QA & Testing
- Robust understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, Tosca, or similar tools preferred.

ITSM Experience
- Good understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Knowledge of: Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Release Management Service Request Management SLA Management

Tools & Technologies
- Salesforce
- Jira / Azure DevOps
- ServiceNow
- Postman
- Selenium / Provar / Tosca
- SQL (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification (preferred).
- ISTQB Foundation Certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.




- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Estimated Pay Range
