Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Executive role based at the Jewellery Garden showroom in Durgapur.

The Sales

Executive will greet customers, understand their requirements, and present suitable jewellery pieces across bridal, light-weight, ethnic, and premium collections. The role includes explaining product features, quality, pricing, and certifications, guiding customers through selection, billing, and after-sales support. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing displays, maintaining product knowledge, supporting stock management, and adhering to showroom policies and standards.

Executive will work closely with the showroom team to achieve sales targets and ensure a welcoming, professional environment for all customers.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience in retail or showroom environments, preferably in jewellery, fashion, or luxury goods.
- Attention to detail and product knowledge skills, including willingness to learn about jewellery types, patterns, hallmarking, and certifications.
- Basic numerical and transactional skills for handling billing, cash, and digital payments accurately and responsibly.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in sales or retail management is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site showroom setting and collaborating with a diverse team to meet shared sales goals.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles in Durgapur or similar markets is beneficial but not mandatory.
