About Cleftomaniac:

Cleftomaniac is a Chennai based music accessories brand, founded by a musician and built for musicians. For six years we've been designing premium guitar straps, padded guitar bags, sold online and through retail/dealer partners. Our gear is used by working musicians and session artists across India, and we're now expanding our network of retail and dealer partnerships nationwide.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a driven and personable Sales Executive to grow Cleftomaniac's Business to Business (B2B) sales - building out our network of music stores, retailers, and dealers who stock our guitar straps and bags. Responsibilities will include the following:

- Identify and reach out to prospective B2B customers (music stores, retailers, dealers) through cold calls and outbound outreach
- Travel to meet prospects in person, present the product range (guitar straps and guitar bags), and close deals
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers
- Consistently follow up via calls and email to move leads through the sales pipeline




- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and deal records in the CRM and/or other reporting systems
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Travel to other states as required to pitch and onboard new accounts (travel expenses covered by the company)
- Stay informed on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends in the music retail space

Requirements:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & speaking comfort in one South Indian language
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development (cold calling and client visits)
- Comfortable and willing to travel frequently, including outstation trips
- Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge of or interest in the music industry/music business is a robust plus (musical knowledge itself is not required)
- Existing network of contacts among music retailers, dealers, or instrument stores

- Salary- ₹17,000 – ₹22,000 per month with sales based incentives
