Role Description The Sales Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based at Homegrown Nursery and Farms in Kanjirapalli.

The Sales

Assistant will support daily sales activities, including greeting customers, understanding their planting and farming needs, and recommending appropriate products.

Responsibilities include assisting with product display and organization, maintaining clean and welcoming sales areas, updating basic sales records, and supporting inventory checks.



The role also involves answering customer queries in person and by phone, coordinating with the nursery team to fulfill orders, and providing accurate information about plant varieties and farm products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to engage effectively with visitors and buyers.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills to explain product features, provide guidance, and handle customer inquiries.
- Candidates should possess sales skills to assist in closing transactions, promoting products, and supporting revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess organization skills to maintain orderly displays, manage basic records, and support inventory-related tasks.
- Basic knowledge or interest in plants, agriculture, or nursery operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an outdoor farm and nursery environment.
- Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and follow established farm and nursery procedures.
