– Safety Officer Position: Safety Officer Department: Safety / Projects Location: Project Sites – PAN India Experience: 2–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment at our project sites. Candidates with experience in work-at-height activities will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities - Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and standards.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers.
- Monitor and supervise work-at-height activities, scaffolding, ladders, lifelines, and fall-protection systems.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and training for employees and workers.
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take immediate corrective action.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection checklists, permits, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and company safety requirements.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors,



and workers to maintain safety standards.
- Monitor work permits, especially for height, hot work, confined space, and other high-risk activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills - Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil, structural repair, or industrial projects.
- Experience in work-at-height activities is preferred.
- Positive knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding safety, PPE, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.
- Strong communication and site-management skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and take quick corrective action.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.

Preferred

Certifications - NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent safety certification.

- Valid Work at Height / Scaffolding Safety training or certification will be an added advantage.
