Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Safety Executive role based in Siwan.

The Safety

Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace safety procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits across operations, as well as identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions. The role involves leading safety trainings and toolbox talks, maintaining safety documentation and incident records, and supporting investigations of accidents and near-misses.

Executive collaborates with operations and management teams to promote a strong safety culture, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support adherence to company and legal standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, local statutory requirements).
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations within industrial or environmental services settings.
- Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to diverse operational teams.
- Strong skills in safety documentation, reporting, and data analysis, including maintaining registers, checklists, and compliance records.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; certification in industrial safety or NEBOSH/IOSH is an advantage.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence behavior and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, attention to detail, and commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
- Prior experience in waste management, utilities, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments is preferred.
