Key Responsibilities

Billing &

- Transactions

- Receive and process customer orders at the counter

- Bill customers accurately using the POS billing system

- Accept payments via cash, credit/debit card, UPI, wallets, and vouchers

- Issue receipts and provide correct change to customers

- Process discounts, offers, coupons, and loyalty points as applicable

- Handle bill modifications, voids, and cancellations with supervisor approval

Cash Management

- Maintain and balance the cash drawer throughout the shift

- Perform shift opening and closing cash counts

- Report any cash discrepancies immediately to the supervisor

- Maintain petty cash register with proper documentation

- Ensure daily cash handover to the cash office with supporting reports

Customer Service

- Greet every customer warmly and professionally

- Assist customers with menu queries, combo offers, and pricing

- Handle customer complaints or billing disputes calmly and escalate when needed

- Ensure fast and effective service especially during peak hours

- Maintain a positive and welcoming counter environment

Operations &

- Compliance

- Ensure the counter and billing area is clean, organized, and stocked

- Maintain stationery — receipt rolls, bill folders, tokens, etc.





- Follow hygiene, safety, and cash handling SOPs at all times

- Coordinate with kitchen and floor staff for smooth order flow

- Assist in daily and weekly sales report preparation

- Support stock and inventory checks at the counter

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 10+2
- Bachelor's degree preferred

- 0–2 years of experience in a cashier or billing role

- Prior experience in F&B;, hospitality, or retail is an advantage

- Freshers with good communication skills are welcome to apply

Key Skills &

- Competencies

- Proficiency in POS billing software (Petpooja, Posist, MICROS, etc.)

- Basic math and numerical accuracy

- Fast and accurate cash handling ability

- Good communication in English and local language

- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented

- Ability to work under pressure during rush hours

- Team player with a positive attitude

Working Conditions

- Shift-based work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Standing for extended periods at the counter

- Fast-paced environment with high customer footfall during peak hours

Pay: ₹8,140.40 - ₹19,000.00 per month
