Role Description The Reporter role at Compucom is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information from multiple sources to produce accurate, timely, and engaging news and feature content about technology, services, and industry developments. Day-to-day activities include conducting interviews with internal and external stakeholders, writing news articles and reports, and preparing multimedia elements such as images, short videos,



or infographics to support storytelling.

The Reporter will collaborate with communications, marketing, and subject matter experts to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, complies with editorial standards, and is tailored for internal and external distribution channels. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, tracking key performance metrics for content, and adjusting coverage and formats based on audience needs and feedback.

Qualifications

- Strong reporting skills, including researching, fact-checking, and interviewing.
- Excellent writing and news writing abilities, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and tone.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with multimedia content creation, such as basic video, audio, or visual storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of technology or IT services sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Pune City, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with digital publishing tools, content management systems, and standard office software.
