/n Regional Sales Manager Steel structure co at Chennai /n Location: Chennai /n Industry: TMT Steel /n Experience: Minimum 815 Years as a RSM/ZSM in Chennai /TN in TMT steel bar company. /n Function: Sales & Business Development /n CTC: Maximum gross up to 15 LPA + Incentive + DA /n /n We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with strong TMT steel industry experience to drive sales and business development across Chennai and the assigned region. /n TMT STEEL EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY. Candidates from other building-material industries will NOT be considered. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual TMT steel sales targets.

/n

- Develop and manage a strong network of TMT steel dealers, distributors, stockists, and retailers.

/n

- Develop business with builders, contractors, developers, and project customers.

/n

- Identify new markets, dealers, projects, and business opportunities.

/n

- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.

/n

- Prepare territory-wise sales plans and ensure effective market coverage.

/n

- Build robust relationships with key dealers, distributors, builders, contractors, and influencers.

/n

- Monitor order booking, dispatches, collections, outstanding payments, and sales pipeline.

/n

- Conduct regular market visits and monitor dealer performance.

/n

- Track TMT steel market prices, competitor activities, schemes, and market trends.

/n

- Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Finance, and Logistics teams for smooth order execution and timely delivery.

/n





- Resolve dealer/customer issues and ensure strong customer relationships.

/n

- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, market intelligence, and management reports.

/n

- Drive dealer expansion and improve market share in the assigned territory.

/n /n Candidate Profile /n /n

- Graduate / MBA preferred.

/n

- Minimum 815 years of sales experience specifically in the TMT steel industry.

/n

- TMT Steel industry experience is compulsory.

/n

- Strong experience in TMT dealer/distributor/stockist network management.

/n

- Proven track record in achieving TMT steel sales targets.

/n

- Experience in handling and leading a sales team.

/n

- Strong knowledge of TMT steel market, pricing, grades, competition, dealers, and distribution channels.

/n

- Existing network among TMT steel dealers, distributors, stockists, builders, and contractors will be highly preferred.

/n

- Strong negotiation, leadership, communication, and relationship-management skills.

/n

- Chennai / Tamil Nadu market experience preferred.

/n

- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
