Key Responsibilities

Reconciliation, Financial Reporting & Close

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in alignment with the Australia finance team.
- Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with IFRS / Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
- Manage Australian payroll and superannuation reporting requirements, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Payday Super
- Complete day-to-day reconciliations for payroll, payables and receivables
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to the Finance Lead and broader business stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information.

Support budgeting and forecasting cycles in coordination with the Australia team Audit & Regulatory Compliance

- Lead coordination of internal and external audits, including Australia-specific audit requirements (e.g. credit reporting, aged debtors, client related audits).
- Act as a liaison between GCC, auditors, and the Australia finance team.
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with local statutory requirements (India, if applicable) and Australian regulatory frameworks.
- Support tax, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting where required.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Strengthen and maintain internal control frameworks aligned with global and Australia finance standards.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.




- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to SOX/controls environment (if applicable).

Stakeholder Management (Global)

- Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of finance and audit outcomes.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across finance, tax, legal, and operations teams.
- Provide regular updates on financial performance, audit status, and risk areas.
- Support cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 5–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit
- Prior experience in GCC / shared services / global finance environment preferred
- Exposure to Australian accounting standards or global reporting frameworks is an advantage
- Experience working with overseas stakeholders (preferably ANZ region)

Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, audit, and compliance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and robust analytical capability
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g. Reckon/QuickBooks)

- Timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with Australia timelines
- Successful audit outcomes with minimal findings
- Compliance with Australian and local regulations
- Effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation
- Stakeholder satisfaction (onshore and offshore)
