Role Description The R Analytics Modeling Analyst will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting data-driven decision-making for clients and internal teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and validating statistical models in R, performing data analysis and exploratory data checks, and implementing analytics solutions that address business problems in areas such as operations and finance. The analyst will clean, transform, and structure data sets, design and automate reporting, and document methodologies and findings for stakeholders.





This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to interpret results, refine model requirements, and communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics for solving business problems and interpreting complex data sets.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Statistics and Statistical Modeling, including experience building models in R (e.g., regression, classification, forecasting).
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Finance sufficient to understand financial metrics, risk, and performance indicators used in analytics projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in R programming and related libraries for data manipulation, visualization, and modeling, along with familiarity with SQL or other data query tools.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and writing clear documentation and reports.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams, with strong time management and self-organization skills, is beneficial.
- Exposure to business intelligence tools, dashboarding, or cloud analytics environments is an advantage.
