Senior Quantexa Developer / Quantexa Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantexa Developer / Technical Lead with strong expertise in the Quantexa platform, big data technologies, and cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting Quantexa-based solutions while leading technical teams and ensuring successful project delivery. The role requires hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, Python, Hadoop ecosystems, and enterprise-scale data processing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Quantexa Solution Development

- Design, develop, and implement Quantexa solutions for entity resolution, network generation, and contextual decision intelligence use cases.
- Build and optimize scalable data processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Scala, and Python.
- Configure, deploy, and support Quantexa platform components across development, test, and production environments.
- Perform Quantexa platform operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive solution architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
- Ensure timely delivery of technical milestones while maintaining quality standards.

Data Engineering and Big Data
- Design and develop large-scale data ingestion and transformation frameworks.
- Work with Hadoop ecosystem technologies including Hive, Pig, HDFS, and related components.
- Implement cloud-native data processing solutions and modern data architectures.




- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources.

Data Modeling & Database Management
- Design dimensional and operational data models for analytical workloads.
- Work with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and big data storage technologies.
- Support optimization and administration activities across Oracle, SQL Server, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, and similar platforms.

Platform Performance & Operations
- Analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance tuning strategies.
- Support application deployment, load balancing, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
- Utilize tools such as Prometheus and related monitoring solutions to maintain platform health.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Process & Governance
- Follow SDLC best practices, Agile delivery methodologies, and DevOps principles.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Participate in architecture reviews, risk assessments, and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience with Quantexa platform development and operations.
- Quantexa Certified Professional certification.
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Scala, and Python.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.




- Experience working with Hadoop ecosystems (Cloudera, Hortonworks, Hive, Pig).
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed data processing platforms.
- Ability to work in complex enterprise environments and drive end-to-end solution delivery.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage and Informatica.
- Knowledge of data ingestion technologies including Kafka and Flume.
- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and platform administration.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus.
- Experience with advanced cloud data platforms and big data solutions.

Experience
- 6 to 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Quantexa implementation experience.
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise-scale big data and analytics solutions.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
