Position: Quality Engineer – Civil

Department: Quality / Project Execution

Location: Construction Site , Borivali West , Mumbai

Experience: 3–7 Years preferred

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Ensure all civil construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, applicable IS codes, and project quality requirements.
- Inspect RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
- Conduct incoming material inspections for cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, tiles, waterproofing materials, and other construction materials.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), checklists, test reports, and quality records.
- Monitor concrete quality, including slump tests, cube casting, cube test results, and concrete pour documentation.
- Ensure required laboratory and field tests are conducted as per approved Quality Assurance Plan.




- Identify defective or non-conforming work and issue/monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) until closure.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, PMC, and client representatives for quality inspections and approvals.
- Verify workmanship before allowing subsequent activities to proceed.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of civil construction and finishing works.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, and construction specifications.
- Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of concrete testing and construction material testing.
- Solid documentation and reporting skills.
- Good coordination and communication with site teams, consultants, and clients.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic project documentation software.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
