- Job Profile • Responsible for establishing Quality systems and procedure at movement Manufacturing vertical • Perform incoming and final inspection of movement components and sub-assemblies as per quality standards • Execute process audits at various manufacturing stages and record findings in movement manufacting.
- Conduct incoming quality checks for bought-out movement components.
- Support defect analysis and assist in root-cause identification.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, SOPs, control plans, and documentation.
- Support digital quality initiatives, quality dashboards, and data-driven improvement projects.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and ensure timely calibration of all measuring instruments.
- Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Key Deliverables • Reduction of repetitive quality issues through data-based failure analysis.
- Consistent and reliable QC documentation aligned with system requirements.
- Timely preparation of monthly shop quality performance reports and follow-up action tracking.
- Failure analysis outcome of the assembly feedback and reduce the problem • Improved process adherence through regular audits and quality monitoring.
Work Experience
- Knowledge Requirements • Understanding of machining processes such as Turning, Milling, Hobbing, and Press operations (specific to precision components).
- Familiarity with QC tools and techniques:
- CAPA - MSA, Calibration - Basic SPC/SQC concepts • Basic knowledge of Six Sigma concepts (DMAIC, variation, sigma levels).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; concepts.
