About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled qualified to join Uppteam as a Drawings Review and Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the review process of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and coordination across all disciplines. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying discrepancies, ensuring adherence to project standards, and facilitating seamless communication among design teams.

Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in reviewing construction drawings, performing quality control checks, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and other relevant design applications.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.





Responsibilities As a Drawings Review and Quality Control Specialist at Uppteam, your key responsibilities will include:

- Thoroughly reviewing US Construction Document Sets (CD sets) to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Conducting detailed coordination checks among architectural, structural, and MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) drawings to identify conflicts or inconsistencies.
- Utilizing comprehensive QC checklists to ensure all design elements are included and meet project standards.
- Identifying missed elements, discrepancies, or design conflicts and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Employing overlay techniques, clash detection tools, or Building Information Modeling (BIM) to facilitate effective coordination and clash resolution.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of review findings and ensuring all corrections are implemented before final approval.
- Participating in project meetings to communicate review outcomes and coordinate corrective actions.
