Role Description The Quality Assurance Test Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India. This role is responsible for leading QA planning and execution across projects, including designing test strategies, creating test plans and test cases, and overseeing manual and automated testing activities.

The Test

Lead collaborates closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing defect tracking, coordinating regression and integration testing, reviewing test results, and reporting quality metrics and risks to stakeholders.



The role also involves mentoring QA team members, promoting best practices in testing, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality processes aligned with Yexle’s “innovation driven, quality assured” culture.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills, including experience defining and implementing test processes and standards.
- Knowledge of Quality Management practices, with the ability to design and maintain quality frameworks, metrics, and documentation.
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar regulatory and compliance frameworks, and applying them to technology projects when relevant.
- Quality Auditing experience, including planning and conducting internal audits, reviewing compliance, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams or test projects in IT or software development environments, ideally in enterprise or low-code platforms.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and, preferably, automation frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on risk-based testing.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present transparent quality reports to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Public Sector projects
