Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer internship is an on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test cases for web and software applications developed by OPM Corporation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing, documenting defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that products meet defined quality standards and functional requirements.





The role also involves collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in software testing within a fast-paced, technology-driven workplace.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, including preparing detailed test scenarios and running structured test cycles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with an understanding of QA processes, defect reporting, and basic SDLC concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing of web and software applications.
- Basic familiarity with testing tools or bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar) and version control concepts is beneficial.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Robust analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams on-site.
