About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our talented team in Mangalore. This pivotal role requires a professional with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, capable of leading the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while ensuring adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and technical excellence. The successful candidate will take ownership of designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining complex software systems.

Additionally, this role involves mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing high standards of code quality and architecture.

The Associate Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including technical leads and managers, to translate requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions. Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.



The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in software development, with extensive experience in Python and related frameworks. Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding at least two developers, is essential.

A strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and development best practices is required. Expertise in Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, along with experience designing microservices architectures, is highly desirable. Familiarity with AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source alternatives like DeepSeek and Llama, is critical.

The candidate should have a deep passion for performance optimization, profiling, and debugging, ensuring high-quality, efficient code.

Experience with cloud services (AWS), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is also necessary. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Oversee and enforce best practices throughout the SDLC, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows. Lead and mentor a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical leads and managers, to finalize design documents such as wireframes, database schemas, pseudocode, and architectural diagrams.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable application architectures, emphasizing microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerization using Docker. Optimize code for performance, security, and maintainability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.



Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.

Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and ensure security compliance during deployment processes. Manage technical debt proactively and implement performance enhancements to improve system efficiency. Execute proof-of-concept projects within tight timelines, leveraging open-source frameworks and diverse technology stacks to validate innovative solutions.

Monitor production environments to ensure scalability, resource optimization, and system reliability, implementing necessary adjustments to meet evolving business needs.
