UNC Engineering & Constructions is hiring a QA/QC Engineer for our NRL Siliguri project (SMT augmentation) in West Bengal. This is an urgent, immediate requirement.

Responsibilities

Quality assurance and quality control for piping, fabrication and tankage works

Review and implementation of WPS, PQR and welder qualification (WPQ) records

Welding inspection and NDT coordination (VT, PT, MT, UT)

Piping fabrication and erection inspection

Preparation and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)

Raising and closing inspection requests

NCR identification, tracking and corrective action closure

Hydrotesting and mechanical completion support

QA/QC documentation and reporting

Coordination with client and PMC on inspection and quality matters

Requirements

3-8 years of relevant experience





Background in EPC, oil & gas, or industrial construction

Robust hands-on experience in mechanical/piping QA/QC

Working knowledge of WPS/PQR, welder qualification, and NDT methods (VT/PT/MT/UT)

Experience with ITP, inspection requests, and NCR/corrective action processes

NDT Level II certification (or equivalent) preferred

Experience with hydrotesting and mechanical completion processes
