Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Executive role based in Chennai.

The Purchasing

Executive will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records of all purchases. The role involves identifying and evaluating vendors, obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Executive will work closely with different departments to understand requirements, monitor inventory levels,



and ensure adherence to organizational policies and budget guidelines. The role also includes tracking supplier performance, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing processes to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Management, including experience with Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
- Candidates should possess solid Procurement skills, with the ability to source, evaluate, and engage vendors effectively.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in the nonprofit or service sector.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP or procurement software is beneficial.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
