Role Description The Purchase Engineer role at DECG INTERNATIONAL is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal.

The Purchase

Engineer will handle end-to-end purchasing activities, including planning procurement requirements, preparing and processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials and components required for manufacturing and fabrication projects. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, monitoring vendor performance,



and maintaining accurate purchase records and documentation.

The Purchase

Engineer will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to align purchasing decisions with technical specifications, project timelines, and cost targets. The position also includes analyzing procurement data, optimizing purchase processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.

Qualifications

- Robust understanding of purchasing processes and purchase management, with the ability to oversee vendor selection and procurement workflows.
- Experience in purchase planning and managing purchase orders to meet project schedules and inventory requirements.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to assess quotations, cost structures, supplier performance, and procurement data for decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a similar technical discipline.
- Knowledge of industrial products such as bearings, expansion joints, steel structures, or heavy fabrication components is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or procurement software tools.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhopal, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to quality and compliance standards.
