Role Description The Project Engineer – Experiential / AV / Projection Mapping is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for planning, engineering, and executing experiential and AV installations, including projection mapping, dome theaters, immersive environments, and interactive display systems. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project requirements, preparing technical designs and documentation, coordinating with designers and content teams, and selecting appropriate AV hardware and control systems.

The Project

Engineer will oversee installation,



testing, and commissioning at client sites, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure projects meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines and resources, and providing technical support and training to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in audiovisual systems, including projectors, media servers, sound systems, control systems, and signal routing.
- Experience with projection mapping workflows, immersive environments, and interactive display technologies.
- Proficiency in reading and creating technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics (using tools such as AutoCAD or similar).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals for AV integrations, including IP configuration, connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and on-site execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical solutions in quick-paced environments.
- Clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, AV, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in experiential installations, theme parks, museums, events, or live-production AV environments is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site at installations, travel as required for projects, and adapt to flexible schedules around project timelines.
