Role Summary:

Manage programs to help students build launch and scale businesses, especially in D2C

In-office role, based in Express Avenue Chambers, Royapettah, Chennai.

About IVB & Context for this role:

IVB - Institute of Venture Building, is a new age institute for entrepreneurship, based on experiential learning

Core to our programs is that beyond classroom lectures, our students learn by building real businesses.

And core to execute these, is solid and continuous mentorship from the program team and extended pool mentors.

Our flagship is a 3 year full-time UG. We are also launching a D2C program for school students.

Responsibilities:

The role involves assisting student-led businesses, working separately with each team, directly mentoring in your area of expertise, and getting them mentorship from others for areas outside your expertise.

Student Mentoring: Directly mentor students in your area of expertise, which can include some of the following: sourcing, logistics,



ecommerce management, tech, branding, design, content, performance & retention marketing

Program Efficiency: Centralize resources to make it easier to execute for students, such as onboarding and managing suppliers and vendors

Mentor Relations: Cultivate relationship with industry experts to build and manage wider pool of mentors and mapping to student needs

Program Operations: Facilitate smooth execution of program, managing people, schedules, logistics, including execution of demo days with investors and wider audience

Desired Profile:

The ideal candidate would be someone with experience in either operations or marketing, enjoys talking to people, and has a passion towards education and entrepreneurship
