Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Team Leader role based in Chennai.

The Production Team

Leader oversees daily shop-floor activities, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, allocating work to team members, monitoring output, and resolving operational issues in real time. The role involves supervising and guiding production staff, providing clear instructions, training where needed, and supporting performance improvements.

The Production Team

Leader also collaborates with operations management on process optimization,



maintains accurate production records, and communicates progress and challenges to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills and team leadership abilities to manage and motivate production staff effectively.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning and Production Management skills to organize workflows and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management and basic process improvement skills to maintain smooth, efficient, and safe production operations.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, managers, and cross-functional departments.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, textiles, or footwear production, preferably in a team leader or similar role.
- Knowledge of quality control practices, workplace safety standards, and basic reporting/documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to production issues.
- Diploma or degree in production, industrial engineering, textiles, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
