About the Role

We're growing our Retail Integration Squad and have multiple roles open across L2, L3, and L4 — from engineers a few years into their Java journey to seasoned hands who've been building backend systems for a decade. Whether you're looking to level up on a high-visibility retail integration program or bring deep expertise to mentor a growing team, there's a seat here for you.

This role involves building and maintaining backend services that connect core retail functions such as Items, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Stock Transfers, Sales Orders, and Shipments.

Please note that there would be live coding rounds conducted as part of technical screening.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and support event-driven integrations using Kafka
- Work on integrations feeding into or from Oracle Retail systems
- Support and troubleshoot orchestration workflows run through Apache Airflow (Python-based)
- Collaborate with functional and integration teams to understand retail process flows (Items, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Stock Transfers, Sales Orders, Shipments)
- Participate in code reviews, testing,



and deployment processes
- Learn and adapt to additional systems and tools as project needs evolve

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, event-driven architecture)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Supply Chain concepts (Items, Inventory, Purchase Orders, Stock Transfers, Sales Orders, Shipments)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, integration-heavy environment

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Oracle Retail systems or willingness to be trained on them
- Working knowledge of Python, or openness to learning it (Airflow orchestration layer is Python-based)
- Prior experience in retail, supply chain, or e-commerce domains

Level-Specific Expectations

L2 (3–5 years)—100% remote

- Delivers well-defined features and integration components with guidance from senior engineers
- Building foundational knowledge of Kafka-based event flows and Oracle Retail data structures
- Growing comfort with Airflow/Python as a secondary skill
