Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for foldable ladders, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, monitoring workflow and resource allocation, and coordinating with procurement, quality, and maintenance teams to avoid delays and downtime. The role involves supervising and guiding production staff, implementing standard operating procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.

The Production





Manager will regularly review performance metrics, resolve operational issues on the shop floor, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in production planning, shop-floor supervision, and manufacturing operations, preferably in industrial or consumer durable products.
- Knowledge of quality control processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements relevant to ladder or metal fabrication manufacturing.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate production teams; skilled in workforce management, shift planning, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in using production management tools or ERP systems, with sound data analysis and reporting skills.
- Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S, or similar frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams including procurement, engineering, and logistics.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Previous experience in ladder manufacturing, metalworking, or related industries is an advantage.
