Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer - Platform/Product to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad_Phoenix. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Mainframe IMS DBA, playing a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our platform and product solutions. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze complex requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain platform and product solutions with a focus on Mainframe IMS DBA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement database management best practices, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Mainframe IMS DBA and platform development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Mainframe IMS DBA.
- Proficiency in database design, implementation, and management.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes for Mainframe databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues effectively.




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with other database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages relevant to platform development.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Mainframe IMS DBA or database management are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
