Role Description The PPF Applicator role at CAR DETAILLING is a full-time, in office position based in Lucknow. The applicator is responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, cutting and fitting paint protection film (PPF), and installing the film with precision to protect paintwork from scratches, chips, and environmental damage. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and decontaminating surfaces, aligning and applying film to body panels, trimming and finishing edges, and ensuring a smooth, bubble-free installation.

The role involves inspecting completed work, performing minor corrections, maintaining tools and work areas,



and following safety and quality standards. The PPF Applicator also interacts with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines and support a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

- Experience with automotive detailing, exterior surface preparation, and basic paint care techniques.
- Practical skills in PPF or vinyl wrap installation, including cutting, alignment, squeegeeing, and finishing edges.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to perform precision work over extended periods.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, tool handling, and cleanliness in an automotive workshop environment.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, work from product guidelines, and adapt to different vehicle types and shapes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and respond professionally to customer feedback.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, accept coaching, and keep up with evolving PPF products and installation methods.
- Prior experience in automotive PPF, wrapping, or detailing is preferred; vocational training or certification in automotive bodywork or detailing is an advantage.
